  Great food and service. Surprised to see no oil veggies on the menu and I wish we had a mexican restaurant like this in Hampton Roads. They didn't have cheese smothered on every dish on the menu and the phone and veggies are very fresh and good.

  TEDDY CROCKER RATES EL NORTENO 5 STARS -- "I'm so full, after eating at El Norteno's Authentic Mexican Restaurant for the 1st time ever today. Let's look at the word Authentic shall we. I've eaten Mexican Cuisine in Juarez, Tijuana, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Montana, New Mexico,Texas, California, Oregon and Washington state and I'm pretty sure those meals were Authentic, since we -- America -- took those lands away from the Brown People prior to the Spanish-American War.
  
  Now I'm here in the Dirty Dirty South ... and decide to eat at El Norteno today. GUESS WHAT .... Their Food is VERY MUCH SO AUTHENTIC and possess that Hispanic / Tex-Mex / Tejano / Chicano / Mexican / Latin American / Castilian taste that I've come to know like the back of my hand, as a 26 year veteran of eating Mexican Style Cuisine. I'd recommend this restaurant to EVERYONE! THE FOOD IS EL MEJOR-R-R (Anglais: "The Best") !!!"
